The University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law launched its Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program for Academic Year 2019-2020. Set to begin in August 2019, the program introduces government counsels, legal practitioners, judges, and law professors “to the intricacies of the evolving body of ASEAN regional law and its relationship with Southeast Asian (including Philippine) national laws.”
The LL.M. degree is offered in two tracks:
1) Cross-Border and Regional Practice, and 2) Government, Public Advocacy, and Judging. The program requires the students to complete 30 units of core and elective subjects, inclusive of master’s thesis.
